I am using plantronics now and love them! They fold up nicely and are very light for teachers on the go. http://www.plantronics.com/us/product/audio-476-dsp 

I mostly used logitech before these, and especially liked the behind-the-head style. 

My next pair will be an upgraded plantronics set and maybe even wireless biggrin

Which headset are y'all using? confuse 

I had a Microsoft Lifechat Lx-3000, which lasted me a year and nine months!  It quit on me suddenly this week, so I went to Best Buy to replace it...  I went with a Logitech and the sound is FANTASTIC, but it looks pretty dorky and isn't that comfortable.  I daydreamed about the slightly more expensive Razer Kraken Gaming headset.  It might be overkill though, haha.

I started off with a Turtle Beach PX3. It's wireless and is super-comfy! But if you don't have sound running through it for a few minutes it shuts itself off, so that was annoying. Now I'm using Plantronics GameCom 780 and the sound is spectacular! It's got Dolby 7.1 surround sound, but what I really got it for was the mic, it's got a good frequency range and the noise cancellation's actually pretty good (helps that its uni-directional). Cost about $50 - $60 depending on where you buy it. I got mine off of Ebay for $50.

I've had terrible luck with headsets. I now use the Logitech sets as well and they are good! I think they changed some settings on my computer however? They will last a long time if you are good to them. 

 

And just really quick, BECCA IS THAT A SLOTH MONKEY?!!!!! And you're holding it?! I love it! I love sloths. Excellent biggrin I just wanted to throw that out there.

Thanks for the replies, y'all! I've gotten used to the Logitech and am going to keep it after all, but maybe will get a Plantronics next time.

YES, Ashley, it's a sloth! He's an orphan that a (human) family had taken in. We saw them on the side of the road in Costa Rica, stopped to say "hi!" and they let me hold him!!! aww
